Synopsis:
Coraline Jones and her parents move into an old house that has been divided into flats. Exploring her new home, Coraline discovers a locked door that opens only to a brick wall.
Later, the door reveals a passage to an ”other” flat that looks like her own, but better—where an ”Other Mother” and ”Other Father” welcome her and seem to offer everything she wants. In this world, however, the people have black buttons for eyes.
As Coraline returns, she learns the other place is a trap: the Other Mother intends to keep her forever. Coraline must summon her courage and wits to escape, rescue stolen souls, and save her real family from the Other Mother’s power.
