Synopsis:
A small wedge-shaped figure called the Missing Piece longs to be part of something bigger. It waits patiently, dreaming of being found by a shape with just the right gap. Many shapes roll by, but none are a perfect fit, and some that fit at first become uncomfortable as they both change. One day the Missing Piece meets the Big O, a complete circle who has no missing parts at all. Instead of offering to carry the Missing Piece, the Big O encourages it to grow—by learning to lift itself, flop, wobble, and eventually roll on its own. Through simple line drawings and spare text, the story explores themes of independence, self-acceptance, personal growth, and the idea that fulfillment comes not from completing someone else, but from becoming whole in oneself.
