Synopsis:
Sophie is an orphan who is awake late one night when she sees a giant outside the window. The giant captures her and carries her off to Giant Country.

Instead of being a man-eating giant like the others, this one is kind-hearted and calls himself the BFG (Big Friendly Giant). He survives on a revolting food called snozzcumbers and spends his nights catching dreams in jars and blowing them into children’s bedrooms.

But the other giants are brutal “fleshlumpeater” types who sneak into human lands to eat people—especially children. Sophie and the BFG hatch a plan to stop the giants, which leads them to the Queen of England and a bold attempt to capture the man-eating giants once and for all.
