Synopsis:
Skippyjon Jones is no ordinary Siamese kitten. With his enormous ears and boundless imagination, he is convinced he is really El Skippito, a brave sword‑fighting Chihuahua. Sent to his room for a time‑out, Skippyjon disappears into the world inside his closet, where he meets a band of Mexican Chihuahuas called Los Chimichangos. Their frijoles have been stolen by a terrible bumble‑beeto bandito, and they need a fearless hero to save the day. Donning his mask and cape, Skippyjon becomes El Skippito Friskito, singing silly rhymes, facing down the gigantic bee, and proving that even a small kitty with a big imagination can be a mighty champion. Blending playful language, mock Spanish, lively rhyme, and exuberant, full‑color illustrations, the story celebrates creativity, make‑believe adventures, and the joy of seeing oneself as a hero.
