Synopsis:
Sylvester Duncan is a young donkey who loves collecting unusual pebbles. One day he finds a smooth, round red pebble that can grant wishes. On his way home, a lion suddenly frightens him, and in panic Sylvester wishes himself into a rock. The pebble falls away, leaving him unable to touch it and change back.
Seasons pass while Sylvester remains trapped as a rock, unable to speak or move, while his parents search and mourn him. Eventually, by chance, Sylvester’s parents picnic on the very rock he has become. They discover the magic pebble and make a wish that restores Sylvester, reuniting him with his family.
