Obverse: Images of two smaller fairies, second Cousins were featured in the book Visions of Faery, which had cover art of the Lady of the Forest which featured 2nd in the Amy Brown Collection. The Second Cousins are very similar in appearance, giving the impression that they may be related and lending the name of “Second Cousins” to the design. The only visible differences between the two fairies are the fact that one has wings and the other has the fins of a mermaid.
Reverse: Dusk has bird-like wings and alluring physical characteristics. She is depicted seated on the edge of a cliff watching out over the fairy lands as the sun sets and dusk arrives. She is ready to swoop down from her perch to confront any trouble.
