SOLD OUT 27 November 2023 marks the 130th birthday of the Queensland Police Museum
We are beyond excited to show you the Museum’s beautiful 130th Birthday Challenge Coin Set which were produced and funded for us by the QPS Health and Recreation Association. Only 100 were made and because we want to add a set to the collection that leaves 99 available, so get in quick.
The intricate sleeve pattern and handcuffs are 3 dimensional and behind them are images of the Fortitude Valley Police Station (handcuffs) and the massing of police during the 1912 General Strike (pattern). The rear of each coin shows an example of the 1884 hat badge which was the first item on police clothing that actually said Queensland Police.
The set of two coins come boxed and will cost $50. You will be able to purchase the set from the QPHRA Shop on the Ground Floor from tomorrow (Wednesday 18 October) and later via their website.

To commemorate the 130th anniversary of the Queensland Police Museum (1893-2023), these beautiful limited-edition challenge coins come as a boxed set. The coins feature historic background images, and the hard box has a black velveteen finish.
