Far North District Intel Challenge Coin
Hi everyone, we would like to gauge interest in the new FND Intel Challenge Coin. It is in the initial stages of development.
The coin will cost $15 and will come in a plastic PVC sleeve. The current design has both the butterfly and the rose as raised "3D”. Credit to Les Kershaw for the brilliant design!
Please comment on how many coins you would potentially purchase, so we know how many to order!
The Ulysses butterfly is found in the rainforests in Far North Queensland, with the life cycle of the butterfly also representing the intelligence cycle. While ’Sub Rosa’ is a Neo-Latin term to denote secrecy or confidentially. The saying goes back to Medieval times where roses where suspended from the ceiling of council chambers, ensuring that things said "Under the Rose” remained secret.
