1940 Half Ton
For the first time in nearly a decade, a Ford truck debuted with cat-like styling. It offered drivers a modern, classy look.

1945 Half Ton (Post War)
As WWII came to an end, Ford resumed it’s production of trucks.
When first released, it was required that those interested in purchasing a 1945 pickup prove that they had conducted vital war-related business.

1948 F-1
A banner year for Ford enthusiasts - the first line of F-Series trucks debuted in 1948!

1953 F-100
Released during the 50th year of the Ford Corporation, the 1953 F-100 marked the second generation of light-duty Ford F-Series trucks.

1959 F-100 4x4
This marked the debut of Ford’s first factory-made 4x4 pickup. Previously, outside manufacturer, would have to convert their trucks to 4 wheel drive.

1965 F-250 Crew Cab
Another innovation came in 1965, with the advent of Ford’s 4-door Crew Cab.
This made another option available to consumers, that was previously only available from outside sources.

1975 F-150
By the mid 1970’s, Ford truck enthusiasts could choose from the F-150 and the F-250 - but this left a gap for consumers. Enter the F-150, which offered a pleasing balance of power and performance.

In the 50 years to come, Ford’s F-Series trucks consistently ranked among the top selling vehicles in America. These handsome coins celebrate the origins of Ford’s iconic truck line.
