Released by AMC to celebrate Superman 50th birthday, this American cultural icon created on April 18 1938 by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. The unusual 12oz weight coverts to an even 1lb. The medallion sold without a capsule and is presented in a cherry-wood clamshell box along with a numbered COA.

The obverse feature the classic image of Clark Kent changing into Superman suit and flying away with the text “50 Years of Truth Justice and the American Way. This is a job for… Superman”.

The reverse feature a large 50th Birthday of Superman text with composition of the metal below. The names of the creators are at the top left.
