Title:
Victoria Crown
Description:
Coin shows the classic British ’St George and the Dragon’ reverse: Saint George on horseback riding right, cape flowing behind, thrusting a sword downward into a dragon below; ground line and exergue with the date ’1890’ centered at bottom. Beaded/ toothed border around rim. The photographed piece appears to be mounted (a small metal lug/bail is visible at about 11 o’clock on the rim), suggesting the coin may have been converted into a pendant or jewelry mount.
