Title:

Lincoln Memorial Cent

Description:
Obverse (front) of a United States Lincoln cent (Lincoln Memorial series). Copper-brown coin showing a worn portrait of Abraham Lincoln facing right. The date “1975” is visible on the left side of the coin (rotated relative to normal orientation in the photo). Heavy circulation wear with numerous scratches, contact marks, and surface abrasions across Lincoln’s face and fields; darker oxidation spots and uneven toning; rim appears intact with minor nicks.

Likely a 1975 Lincoln Memorial cent (regular strike). For 1975 cents, the Philadelphia issue has no mint mark (none shown in this image area), with standard specifications: copper alloy (95% copper, 5% zinc) and plain edge; 3.11 g weight; 19.00 mm diameter. Designers for the series: Victor David Brenner (obverse design) and Frank Gasparro (reverse design for the Lincoln Memorial).
