Title:

Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar (Philadelphia ”P” mint mark)

Description:
United States Eisenhower Dollar (”Ike Dollar”) Bicentennial issue with dual date ”1776-1976” on the obverse. Obverse shows a left-facing bust of President Dwight D. Eisenhower with the legend ”LIBERTY” around the upper rim and the motto ”IN GOD WE TRUST” at lower left. A small ”P” mint mark is visible beneath the bust near the truncation area, indicating Philadelphia Mint. The coin appears copper-nickel clad (standard circulating issue) with reeded edge; large-format dollar coin (about 38.1 mm). This is the U.S. Bicentennial dollar type (issued 1975–1976) which pairs the Eisenhower obverse (originally by Frank Gasparro) with the Bicentennial reverse design featuring the Liberty Bell superimposed over the Moon (reverse design by Dennis R. Williams). No packaging visible; no barcode present in the image.
