United States Washington Quarter (Quarter Dollar), dated 1995 with a Denver ”D” mint mark visible on the obverse to the right of George Washington’s tied hair. Obverse shows a left-facing bust of George Washington with the legends ”LIBERTY” at the top and ”IN GOD WE TRUST” at lower left, with the date ”1995” at the bottom rim. Reverse shows the classic heraldic eagle design with spread wings, arrows and olive branches, with ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” around the top rim, ”E PLURIBUS UNUM” above the eagle, and the denomination ”QUARTER DOLLAR” along the bottom. This is a copper-nickel clad quarter (outer layers 75% copper, 25% nickel over a pure copper core). Standard Washington quarter size/weight for the clad era; reeded edge.
