Title:

Susan B. Anthony Dollar (reverse: Apollo 11 eagle landing on the Moon)

Description:
Coin shows the reverse (tails) of a United States ONE DOLLAR coin with the Apollo 11 insignia design used on the Eisenhower Dollar and later adapted for the Susan B. Anthony dollar.

Visible inscriptions: ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” around the top rim; ”E PLURIBUS UNUM” near the top center; and ”ONE DOLLAR” at the bottom.

Design details: A bald eagle with wings spread in a landing posture, clutching an olive branch, standing/descending onto a cratered lunar surface (Moon). The Earth appears above and to the left of the eagle’s head. Thirteen small stars arc around the upper field. The coin has an 11-sided (hendecagonal) inner border typical of the Susan B. Anthony dollar.

The photo only shows the reverse, so the exact year/date and mintmark are not visible in this image (they are on the obverse). This reverse matches the Susan B. Anthony dollar issues (1979–1981 and 1999).
