Mexican 50 centavos coin dated 1956. Obverse shows a left-facing bust of Cuauhtémoc wearing a feathered headdress, surrounded by the legend ’CINCUENTA CENTAVOS’ with the date ’1956’ at the bottom and a dotted/beaded border around the rim. Reverse shows the national coat of arms of Mexico (eagle with snake) with the legend ’ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS’ around the rim and a dotted/beaded border. Coin appears bronze-colored with circulation wear and dark toning/spots. This matches the Mexico 50 Centavos (KM#450) bronze issue (1955–1959) with a reeded edge.
