Coin shows a left-facing bust of José María Morelos y Pavón in the central inner disk, surrounded by outer ring legend text reading “BICENTENARIO LUCTUOSO DEL GENERALÍSIMO JOSÉ MARÍA MORELOS Y PAVÓN” with commemorative dates “1815” and “2015” and the mint mark “Mo” (Casa de Moneda de México / Mexico City mint). Denomination spelled out at bottom: “VEINTE PESOS”. Other side shows the Mexican national coat of arms (eagle devouring snake) with legend “ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS” around the rim and a laurel/oak wreath below. Round, machine-struck, bimetallic construction with brass-colored outer ring and silvery cupronickel center.
