Reverse shows the Lincoln Memorial design with the legends ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” around the rim, ”E PLURIBUS UNUM” above the Memorial, and ”ONE CENT” at bottom. Coin shows environmental damage/toning and corrosion/verdigris-like discoloration along the lower right obverse and general surface wear. This is the Lincoln Memorial reverse type (used for circulation cents 1959–2008).
