Title:
Justice League
Synopsis:
Synopsis for ”The Villain’s Journey, Chapter One: The Call for Adventure”
Four years ago, a terminally ill David Graves consults his Doctor about his worsening condition. The Doctor tells him that his body is failing, and wonders why he hasn’t contacted the Justice League, as they could potentially help him if they knew how he became sick. David says that the League cannot help him, and shoots his doctor, believing that he can only save himself.
Four years later, in Washington, D.C., Colonel Steve Trevor is stopped outside a liquor store by two paparazzi who ask about Wonder Woman dumping him and whether it was due to her attraction to another member of the Justice League. After punching one of them, Steve goes to his sister’s house for dinner, showing how much he cares for her and her children.
In Gotham, Batman thinks about the letter he recently received from The Flash while remembering his childhood. Alfred tells him that the super-villain The Key has broken-into Arkham Asylum, and Bruce cancels a meeting to intervene.
In Metropolis Perry White praises Lois Lane for driving up newspaper sales. Steve Lombard jokes that he should marry her and she’s gonna become old if she keeps waiting for Superman to which she states that he’s waiting for her. She offers to buy tacos for some of her friends while Clark is left alone at his office and remnisces about being left alone in high school. He then receives a text message from Bruce Wayne asking if he has any ”lunch plans.”
At Arkham Asylum, Batman and Superman work together to subdue the chaos caused by the released prisoners, and attempt to find the Key. Cyborg arrives, and pulls up the prison’s schematics in order to locate their intruder.
Steve Trevor arrives at his apartment, only to find the TV on. Thinking someone is there, he draws his gun and a mysterious figure approaches him and kidnaps him.
In Central City, the Flash and Green Lantern have just taken down the Weapons Master, after someone attacked Iron Heights to free him. After Flash fails at interrogating the criminal, the two call in Wonder Woman.
Back at Arkham, Superman, Batman, and Cyborg find the Key, who tells them that he broke into Arkham so he could escape from a mysterious attacker.
Both villains then reveal that they were both confronted by an individual who wanted to know the Justice League’s weaknesses. This man was named ”Graves”.
In an undisclosed location, Steve Trevor is tortured for information about the League by Graves. While Steve resists the pain, Graves then threatens to harm Steve’s sister and her children. Steve submits.
Synopsis for ”Shazam!”
Billy Batson and his foster siblings go to school. While walking home, some kids start bullying them, and Billy fights them off. The principal threatens to expel Billy.
Doctor Sivana finds a door in his archaeological dig that he thinks is the tomb of Black Adam. He tries to open it, and lightning emits from the door and strikes his face. He falls to the ground, then begins laughing, saying he can see magic.
