Ab and Zab discuss getting out of town now that Urizen has been released. Meanwhile, Spawn unleashes his power on Urizen and knocks him down. Urizen stands back up and grabs Spawn and impales him through a sign. Spawn’s body lays limp as Urizen continues to wreck havoc and death on the countryside.
Wanda Blake has a vision of something going wrong with her birth. She wakes up and realizes it was a dream.
Spawn’s body lays limp and impaled. The grass and plant life suddenly grow and start covering Spawn’s body in vegetation.
Ab and Zab explore the seedy neighborhoods of New York City where they find nude shows and strip clubs. Angela appears and crabs the two of them looking for answers as to what they are up to.
The demons’ mission to attract Spawn to the area is successful when he arrives to investigate the 13 burning corpses placed in a sacrificial circle as bait for the mighty Urizen. In the ensuing battle, Spawn is badly beaten by the powerful Urizen and left impaled upon a pole where he is soon reclaimed by the Earth. Meanwhile, Wanda awakens from a nightmare about her baby to find Terry missing from their bed. Later, as the demons hasten to engage in some earthly sins before they are returned, Angela catches them and asks for an explanation of their mission.
