Title:
Superman Vol 4
Synopsis:
"Goodnight Moon"
Superman easily defeats a group of supervillains called the Demolotion Team, all the while a group of young cancer patients watch from the Children’s Cancer Center of Metropolis. Shortly afterwards, Superman visits the hospital and asks the doctors for permission to get the children to visit the Justice League Watchtower. The doctors agree to Superman’s request and the children are taken aboard a plane construct created by Hal Jordan, with Superman watching over the children.
After enjoying a little playtime in zero gravity, Hal’s construct arrives at the Watchtower, where the Justice League plays with the children and organizes a scavenger’s hunt with their items and tools. The last object the children must find is a picture with Batman’s smile on it and Superman provides the children with smartphones so they can take the photo. After some time, the children find the heroes’ items but they are unable to make Batman smile, until one of the children, Lateef, tells Batman a joke, giving the children the chance they need to take the photo.
Much later, Superman equips the children with spacesuits and takes them to the Moon’s surface, where the children write their names on moonrocks so that their names remain forever on the Moon and their memories get remembered. Superman and the children decide to stay on the Moon for a while and watch the Earth in front of them.
