Synopsis:
Part 1 of 2 - "A SPECTER STALKS THE SOUNDSTAGE!” Guest-starring Stunt Master and from the pages of Daredevil, Karen Page. Ghost Rider must match wits with the diabolical Orb!
Johnny is filming a dangerous stunt for Stunt-Master’s TV show when Cosgrove interrupts, causing an accident. Cosgrove alerts Collier that Johnny is not a member of the stuntmen’s union, and Collier halts filming. Stunt-Master calms Johnny, preventing a violent episode in front of a tour group. Suddenly the tourists attack Stunt-Master and Johnny. When Ghost Rider protects Stunt-Master with a fiery circle, a spectral image of Orb appears. Orb threatens to send the hypnotized tourists into the flame. Just as Ghost Rider douses the hellfire Karen douses the tourists with a firehouse, breaking Orb’s spell. Karen is oddly aloof toward Johnny, and Katy explains that Karen has had several bad relationships. While giving Johnny a tour of the studio, Katy introduces him to Richard and Wendy Pini. Their conversation is interrupted when Patten, controlled by Orb, attacks them with a forklift; Ghost Rider destroys the forklift. Later, Johnny is performing another stunt when he inexplicably transforms into Ghost Rider. Nearby, Orb is encouraging the hypnotized Karen to shoot and kill Ghost Rider.
