Title:
Ghost Rider
Synopsis:
"THE SALVATION RUN!”
Guest-Starring Daimon Hellstrom (Son of Satan) and Stunt Master. The Ghost Rider is in the race of his life - win and save Katy’s soul; lose and lose his own!
Ghost Rider races through an illusion recounting Crash Simpson’s until the Challenger reminds him of the race’s stakes: win and save Katy, lose and forfeit his soul. He continues the race as Son of Satan watches over the hospitalized Katy, who is trapped within the Challenger’s force field. Johnny tries to jump Copperhead Canyon but his bike explodes. Surviving the fall, Ghost Rider conjures up a hellfire motorcycle and resumes the race. He stops again upon seeing his "friend” being crucified by his enemies Aquarius, Miracle Man, Orb, Snake Dance and Trapster Blaze defeats the villains, but seemingly too late to save their victim. The Thing, Spider-Man and the Champions then take tums attacking Blaze and mocking him as a failed hero. Meanwhile, the villain Death’s-Head orders a reluctant Stunt-Master to bring him Karen Page.
NOTE: Spider-Man, Thing and Champions appear on cover but are illusions in story. Spider-Man in Hostess ad "Twinkie Takers!”
