Ghost Rider

Part 2 of 2 – "Sign of Death!”

At last! The Spirit of Vengeance has his hands on the murderous Zodiak, but misguided man trying to do the right thing may get in the way. Plus, the grotesque secret of Zodiak is revealed.

In the subway, Zodiak holds Ghost Rider at bay with a hostage, but Daniels frees the woman. Zodiak dubs Daniels "Suicide and tosses him in front of an oncoming train. He leaps aboard the train, but Ghost Rider follows, vowing "No escape.” Moments later, Suicide rises from the tracks and discovers Ghost Rider’s abandoned motorcycle on the street above. When Zodiak disembarks from the train, Ghost Rider summons his motorcycle, unaware that Suicide has hitched a ride on it across the East River. Ghost Rider pursues Zodiak through the tunnels and to the surface, eventually ending at a theater, where Zodiak takes more hostages. After explaining his origin, Zodiak pulls a pregnant woman from her car on the Brooklyn Bridge. Enraged at Ghost Rider’s inaction, Suicide attacks Zodiak, but the woman falls, clinging to the side of the bridge. He rescues her, and Ghost Rider breaks Zodiak’s arm, preventing him from using his Sagittarius arrows. Suicide charges Zodiak, sending him to a garbage scow below, where he is impaled. To ensure his death, Ghost Rider and Suicide burn the body in a furnace. In the next day’s newspaper, Suicide is lauded as a hero, while Ghost Rider is vilified.
