Title:
Ghost Rider (Vol 2 | 1973)
Synopsis:
"To Banish a Ghost!”
Ghost Rider tracks down the criminals that aided the wizard Azaziah for some unfinished business. Then, Johnny Blaze meets new stunt man sensation that is breaking all his old records.
Ghost Rider chases down the robbers who worked with the wizard Azaziah and sears their souls with hellfire. Reverting to Johnny Blaze, the champion stuntman gets a drink at a nearby tavern where he watches new sensation Flagg Fargo perform stunts rivaling Blaze’s own on TV. When Fargo challenges Blaze to a competition, the other diner patrons recognize Johnny, pleading with him to accept Flagg’s challenge and to put the arrogant newcomer in his place. Blaze accepts. Outside, Ghost Rider spots some robbers, but loses them near Fargo’s trailer A few nights later, Johnny and Flagg participate in the first night of a three day event. When Fargo beats some of Blaze’s records and wins the points for the day, Johnny leaves dejected. He spots more robbers and tries to chase them on motorcycle without changing into Ghost Rider but a second robber vehicle grazes him, leaving him battered on the side of the road.
