Title:
Ghost Rider
Synopsis:
"The Lair of the Loan Shark!”
Johnny Blaze’s assistant, former head stuntman of the Quinten Carnival Red Fowler, runs a foul with the notorious Loan Shark.
While performing a high-wire stunt, Johnny Blaze saves Red Fowler from falling to his death. Red accuses Johnny of making him look bad and storms off to his trailer, where the Loan Shark ambushes him. Loan Shark and his men beat up Red and remind him to pay the ten thousand dollars he owes by tomorrow night. Unable to sleep, Johnny becomes Ghost Rider, encounters Red on the road and terrorizes him. Shaken, Red returns to the carnival to see Ghost Rider reverting to Blaze. Red wakes up the next day. With no time to raise the money he flees the carnival, but Loan Shark captures him. Johnny sees the abduction and follows them to Loan Shark’s moored yacht. Johnny tries to rescue Red, but Loan Shark’s men overwhelm him. Blaze transforms into Ghost Rider, makes quick work of Loan Shark and his men and destroys the yacht. Later, Red thanks Johnny, apologizing for his past behavior, and, secretly aware of the curse that torments his new friend, promises to himself to stand by Johnny.
