Guest-starring Valkyrie. Ghost Rider’s battle with the Furies escalates and draws the former Defender and Asgardian heroine Valkyrie to the battlefield.
As Ghost Rider battles the Furies, Black Rose appears and binds Jennifer Kale and Blaze with her thorny vines, but realizes to her shook she knows Blaze. When Ghost Rider’s chain wounds Dark Lady, she reverts to Paula for a split second. Regaining control, Dark Lady pulls to the surface Noble’s memories of Magdelena’s demise, and accuses him of lighting Magdelena’s pyre, then collapse the building on him Thinking Noble dead, the Furies turn their attention to the restrained Blaze and Jennifer, but Valkyrie, just arrived in response to Jennifer’s mystic distress signal, throws her magical sword Dragonfang to strike both Black Rose and Ember, breaking the latter’s hold over her host, Carlie. As the other Furies attack Valkyrie, a shocked Black Rose notes she is bleeding, something that should be impossible for a demon. Blaze and Jenniller break free and knock out Black Rose, just before the Furies subdue Valkyrie. Before the Furies can attack them, Ghost Rider rises to resume the fight. Jennifer summons Magdelena’s spirit, who decides Noble has suffered enough and recants her curse, casting the Furies out of their hosts. Before leaving, she tells Ghost Rider to continue to fight darkness and seek out his father for answers, though Noble is stunned that Pastor Kale might still live. As Magdelena leaves, Ghost Rider realizes he’ll never be at peace again.
