Guest-starring Doctor Strange. The Ghost Rider ventures through the void with his tour guide Dante and makes some startling revelations.
As Jennifer and Strange try to keep Ghost Rider’s memories from tearing him apart, in the void the Furies attack Dan, who they sense is related to their prey to force him to take them to Ghost Rider. Strange senses they destroyed a cloaking spell when they freed Ghost Rider’s memory Jenniter sends her astral projection into the void to help Dan, but the Furies spot her and wound her, noting she is also related to their target. She manages to expel them from the void before returning to her body. Explaining that the problem is tied to the shared bloodline between Noble, Jennifer, Dan and Blaze and thus only they can fix it, Strange departs, leaving Jennifer to figure out why the Furies are after Ghost Rider. She takes Blaze and herself into Ghost Rider’s memories, seeing him first meeting Magdelena of the Quentin Carnival, and her subsequent violent demise. Ghost Rider’s painful realization that he caused the death of Magdelena, his wife and mother of his child, breaks the vision. Jennifer explains the Furies, who specialize in avenging betrayed women, will come for him and anyone related to him. Jennifer has Ghost Rider turn into Dan, and tries to convince him to let her separate him from Ghost Rider sacrificing Noble to the Furies to buy them time, but Dan refuses. Jennifer reluctantly sets out planning how to protect their loved ones. Meanwhile the Furies visit Hell to demand Mephisto fulfill his treaty to provide them with host bodies so they can act on Earth. Initially disinterested, Blackheart reconsiders upon learning of their target in the void, Ghost Rider notes its changing landscape as his mind opens and his power grows. Feeling only Dan has stood by him, he decides to gird himself for battle and creates new clothing out of hellfire.
