As Ghost Rider ponders all he’s learned, Blaze and Jennifer debate what to do about Black Rose until Blackheart appears and takes her, dropping a hint Blaze may know her and tauntingly asking where Blaze’s children are before departing. As the police try to arrest Ghost Rider and his allies, Valkyrie frees herself from under the truck. She threatens to punish them for all the destruction they helped cause, but before Jennifer can cool the situation Ghost Rider summons his bike and speeds off. Jennifer and Blaze use the distraction to disappear, leaving Valkyrie wondering why the Furies acted like they knew her and decided to talk to Dr. Strange about Ghost Rider’s Zarathos-like personality Ghost Rider returns to Cypress Hills Cemetery, wondering how someone as corrupted as he is can be fit to judge others. Spotting Francis talking to police about Barbara’s disturbed grave, he becomes Dan, and learns his mother blames Ghost Rider for the theft. Blaze asks Jennifer to help find his children, but when they reach her apartment they find Howard the Duck waiting, as Jennifer previously promised to help to get him home. Wong arrives with a spell book sent by Dr. Strange, seemingly aware she will need help in this endeavor, in which she finds a suitable ritual. When she performs it, Howard is sent through a portal. However, it’s not to his home, and Howard suddenly returns, pursued by Devil Dinosaur and Moon- Boy Meanwhile, Dan takes his mother home to find the house full of attacking crows. Nearby, someone watches them from the shadows.
