Synopsis:
In Chains: Part 2 of 4 - "Inmates!” Guest-starring Nick Fury. Ghost Rider is helpless as scientists run test on him trying to figure out what makes a Spirit of Vengeance tick. The only way for Ghost Rider to win his freedom is for Danny Ketch to release his control.
Stacy Dolan’s guilt escalates when Jack D’auria and Francis Ketch chastise her for betraying Dan Ketch Ski Sokolowski offers to help her but demands to know her connection with Ghost Rider. At the Black Hole, scientists run tests on Dan while Dr. Keene tries to stall his dissection, ordered by the Spook Elsewhere in the facility, Black Hole operatives break and reset inmate Ebenezer Laughton’s distorted limbs without anesthetic, as they want to test his pain receptors, and taunt the captive Skinner. Inside their shared mindscape, Dan agrees to merge completely with the Spirit of Vengeance. The merger causes Ghost Rider’s disassembled motorcycle to glow and reassemble, then ride off through the base’s main power coils, causing a temporary power failure. Ghost Rider breaks free, as do Skinner and Laughton; donning his Scarecrow garb, he slaughters his way to Spocks control room and attacks the prison director
