Synopsis:
"Friction!” Johnny Blaze is convinced that Ghost Rider is a killer. But could it be another supernatural being that is committing murder? Could it be Vengeance?!
Ghost Rider tries to convince Blaze he’s not the murderer, but Blaze refuses to hear it. Unwilling to compromise Danny’s secret by changing publicly Ghost Rider agrees to take the discussion elsewhere, and they depart with Captain Dolan as the police arrive. Meanwhile, Stacy fends off Vengeance with her disruptor gun as he rants that the world is full of sinners. She holds him off long enough for Ski and Alec to arrive, and Vengeance fees, aware their weapons can hurt him. Ski berates Stacy for investigating on her own, comparing her to her father, whose disrespect for authority got him fired; when she responds angrily to this, he suspends her. At the cemetery, Ghost Rider changes into Dan, much to Captain Dolan’s shock. Dan tries to convince Blaze that Ghost Rider is not a killer and reminds him of another suspect they haven’t considered: Vengeance. On Long Island, Hellgate chastises his minions for their failure while Snowblind secretly plots against him. At St. Jude’s, Alec and Ski visit Agent Uno in the burn ward, and she reveals how Vengeance put her there. At Dan’s apartment, Dolan learns of a big mobster meeting in Atlantic City that might draw Vengeance out. Before they move out, they’re joined by backup Dolan called in: Stacy, loaded for bear.
