Synopsis:
"Ashes of My Soul!” Guest-starring Brother Voodoo and Lilith, Dracula’s Daughter. Lilith attacks Johnny Blaze, Scarecrow, in command of Danny’s body, attempts to start a killing spree and the Ghost Rider may be powerless to stop either of them.
The bats attack Francis, and when she calls "Dan” for help, he strikes her. Meanwhile, Lilith continues to attack Blaze in the void Barbara tries to alleviate Dan and Noble’s guilt over her death, and explains that Dan and Ghost Rider’s connection never worked properly because she was supposed to be Ghost Rider. She reveals Scarecrow made a deal with Blackheart, allowing him to possess dead bodies and ving ones through his pitchfork. In order to combat him, Ghost Rider realizes he must use Barbara’s body. "Dan” takes his leave in the chaos, as Blackhearths given him a long list of people to murder, but he runs into Jericho, who is trying to catch up with Lilith Daniel Drumm’s ghost alerts Jencho that "Der is their attacker from junkyard, and Jericho tackles him. "Dan” creates a vision of Jericho’s fears, but when Scarecrow tries to kill his distracted toe Daniel Drumm intervenes. Though he finds he cannot possess "Dan,” his attempt breaks Scarecrow’s concentration and Jericho punches him unconscious in the void, Barbara sends Ghost Rider into her body, then bids Dan farewell. Outside the burning Ketch house Lith is about to leed on Blaze when Jericho intervenes. Lilith flies off, but a recovered "Dan” knocks Jericho out, then turns on Francis and Blaze Ghost Rider emerges from the house in Barbara’s burning corpse and Daniel Drumm possesses Jericho, then grabs "Dan"allowing Ghost Rider to force him out of Dan’s body with the pitchfork. Dan is restored, but Francis, her mind already strained by Scarecrow and Lith’s attacks begins screaming uncontrolably upon seeing Barbara’s bones on the lawn.
