Title:

Ghost Rider Annual (Vol 1 | 1993)

Synopsis:
"Taste of Power!”
Three gangsters roust an apparent vagrant in a park, only to find he is a vampire. The vampire kills his assailants, but is addled with memory loss. Realizing he absorbs memories when he drinks blood, he leaves to seek his identity. Dan Ketch and Seer ride nearby, but Seer directs him to the park. Riding in alone, Dan is attacked by the vampire, triggering his transformation into Ghost Rider. The vampire flees and Ghost Rider trails him to Lincoln Center, where the vampire finds an underground office in a nondescript building. In the basement office at a shadow intelligence agency, the employees are alerted to the vampire’s arrival, identifying him as their operative, Night Terror. Night Terror kills the agency’s security officers, but Ghost Rider arrives and attacks him. The agency employees trigger the office’s self-destruct, but Night Terror evades Ghost Rider by becoming mist and begins killing the employees. Ghost Rider spears Night Terror to the wall and rides the sole survivor of his onslaught out of the building seconds before it explodes. Ghost Rider reunites with Seer, but fails to notice a cloud of mist rising out of a sewer grate...

Lost in the Night
Night Terror stalks a quartet of operatives from his former agency to one of their homes. Wander, another agency operative tracking Night Terror, tracks him to the apartment via his brain patterns. Night Terror kills two of the operatives by the time Wanderer ves Night Terror defeats his old ally and drinks some of his blood, then leaves to continue his quest for his past

The Worm Turns
While visiting his sister’s grave, Dan Ketch finds a female former schoolmate transformed into a stone statue. He becomes Ghost Rider and finds a demonic woman called Rigor Mortis astride a flying worm and chasing another girl. Ghost Rider stops Rigor Mortis from turning the girl into stone, then pursues her into a mausoleum leading into a hatchery filled with worm eggs. The two battle, until Ghost Rider submerges her in mud and tricks her into turning the mud to stone. With Rigor Mortis trapped and unable to lead her newly hatched worms to sustenance, Ghost Rider has assured that the worms will die out and leaves the millennia-old sorceress to her captivity.
