Title:

Ghost Rider: Vol. 3

Synopsis:
"A Kind Face!”
Ghost Rider takes on a gang of slavers. Meanwhile, Jennifer Kale joins Johnny Blaze on his quest to find his missing children.

Ghost Rider confronts a small group of slavers as they transport some of their victims for delivery. During the fight, one of the slaves, Lian Goh, escapes. Ghost Rider overpowers the slavers, but before he can administer his penance stare, the police arrive and open fire on him. Angered that they are endangering innocent bystanders, Ghost Rider throws the slavers at them and lectures the cops about asking questions first and shooting later before riding off. Having made it onto a subway train, Lian wonders what to do next, while Lau uses his phone call from jail to put out an order for her recapture. Lian emerges from the subway right by Yan, one of Lau’s men, but though he spots her, she manages to elude him. Stuck without food or shelter, Lian tries to beg from a store for food, but is chased away. Meanwhile, out in the Midwestern desert, Jennifer Kale accompanies Johnny Blaze on a road trip, hunting for his missing children. Back in the Bronx, Dan spots Lian looking longingly at the store’s fruit and buys her an apple. As he starts to head on his way, some slavers attempt to recapture Lian. Dan changes and defends her, but she catches a stray shot. Ghost Rider attempts to get her to a hospital, but she dies in his arms; as she expires, she looks beyond his terrifying visage to see what others fail to: a kind face. That evening Blackheart visits the morgue and offers Lian’s corpse revenge for the evil inflicted upon her if she joins him and takes his hand. She does, and he turns her into Pao Fu.
