Ghost Rider is forced to defend Quentin Carnival’s strongman when the Freakmaster unleashes his horde of disfigured henchmen upon them. Featuring yet another twist ending.
Eliot Frankin arrives at the Quentin Carnival, but his father Corky doesn’t seem pleased to see him. Meanwhile, deformed strongman Jeremy presents a drawing he made of Cynthia Randolph to her, and she awkwardly mistakes the gesture as amorous. As the carnival moves to a new town, Corky gets no response when he asks Eliot if he’s gone straight. On a tropical estate, Freakmaster assigns his aide Renaldo to "enlist Jeremy after seeing him on a Quentin Carnival flyer. Days later, Johnny Blaze sees Renaldo demanding that Quentin sell Jeremy to him, and Johnny throws Renaldo out. That night, Renaldo returns to the carnival and unleashes a horde of disfigured henchmen who capture Jeremy and Johnny. Bound in Renaldo’s hotel suite, Renaldo beats Blaze, unwittingly allowing Ghost Rider to emerge. Renaldo and his freaks escape to a nearby airport, but Ghost Rider catches up and unleashes his hellfire on Renaldo. Jeremy tells Johnny leaving with his new "brothers,” not out of fear of Johnny’s demonic alter ego, but because he has found kinship with others like him.
