Centurious returns to claim the soul of the Ghost Rider!
Roxanne Simpson asks for Johnny Blaze’s help in investigating the pastor of her new hometown of Holly, who has placed most of the atizens in an eerie state of placid euphoria. Johnny says his goodbyes to the Quentin Carnival and leaves with Roxanne. Despite a campsite encounter with a pack of wolves, the pair arrive at Holly. Roxanne introduces Blaze to her relatives, the Winslows. The Winslows invite Domblue for dinner, where Charle, Roxanne’s cousin, vocally doubts his "sin-purging” abilities. That night, Charlie, now as placid as the others, urges Johnny to attend the weekly church services. That Sunday, after consulting with a shadowed master, Domblue begins his service. One by one, each of the parishioners submit to Domblue’s sin-purging power. When Blaze undergoes the process, soul-devouring tentacles emerge from the floor and causes Ghost Rider to emerge. Domblue’s master Centurious appears and battles Ghost Rider until Zarathos weakens and Johnny is forced to resume human form. Centurious attempts to entrap Roxanne’s soul, but Blaze lunges forward and his soul becomes encased in the crystal instead.
