Synopsis for ”The Poison-Pen Puzzle!”
On a trip to Hollywood to check out a movie studio on whose board he now sits, Bruce Wayne witnesses a murder of a notorious writer and must become Batman to find the killer. After a lenthy investigation, Batman finds that there are two people who claim to have murdered the writer. Batman interrogates the supposed killers, but none of them fit the shape of the murderer. After his failed interrogation, Batman is confronted by the real killer, but he manages to capture him with help from the couple who confessed to the crime.

A visiting Russian professor is on hand at an exhibition of moon rocks in Hudson University when a youth is turned green, apparently from exposure to the rocks. Robin tries to investigate but is knocked unconscious by an unseen assailant.
