Title:
Justice League Of America
Synopsis:
"Power and Glory, Part Eight"
The Flash, Vincent, Alexis Martin, and Jane Jones are on board Rao’s Cathedral before it has arrived on Earth. They are quickly surrounded by prophets of Rao and presented to Rao himself. They then willingly show Rao the Stones of Forever, assuming he has good intentions.
In the present, the Kryptonian God senses other Stones of Forever after using his versions to rejuvenate him.
Back on the planet Krypton, the two Raos converse. Mad with power, the older Rao explains his plans for conquest which are bravely denounced by the younger Rao. The youthful Rao goes to Green Lantern who resides within a prison, not being able to use his ring since meeting with the other Kryptonian god. The two talk and Rao gives hope to the impoverished Lantern. Hal’s ring begins to glow.
Back in the Cathedral of Rao, the evil Kryptonian commands his prophets to convert Flash and friends. Interestingly, it appears Vincent is able to resist conversion, albeit at the cost of pain. Flash (quickly) dispatches the prophets and knocks out Rao himself, claiming there is no yellow sun here. Flash, Vincent, Alexis, and Jane use the Stones of Forever to leave the cathedral, returning to Earth.
Wonder Woman, not giving up on the recently deceased Superman, uses the lightning bolt of Zeus to revive Kal-El. The Justice League step out to see a massive planet appear within Earth’s atmosphere where Superman realizes that it’s the planet Krypton. Rao, now sporting an army of yellow sun-powered soldiers, commands them to tame the Earth and convert all. A streak of green light bursts from the Infinity Building on Krypton, and Hal Jordan flies towards Earth with the younger Rao expressing his faith in him.
