Synopsis:
Earthfall
A group of campers in New Mexico investigates a nearby meteor crash, only to fall victim to the emerging Brood. One of the campers, a paramedic named Harry Palmer, escapes without realizing he now bears a Brood egg. He returns to Denver and begins infecting mutants all over the city. The X-Men finally get around to tracking him down in Colorado but, by the time they arrive, Harry has unknowingly created himself an entire army of super-powered Brood, who lure X-Men into a deadly trap.
Meanwhile, in Australia, Madelyne sees her husband, Scott Summers, on TV with the supposedly dead Jean Grey. Enraged, she smashes the TV with her fist, causing it to explode and knock her unconscious.
