Synopsis:

Continued from the prior issue: Professor X has lost mental contact with the X-Men. Using Cerebro, he learns that El Tigre has obtained the second half of a mystical amulet, transforming him into the earthly incarnation of the Mayan god Kukulcán. Cyclops battles Kukulcán, but his optic blast hits the pendant and is redirected back with increased force, knocking him unconscious. Kukulcán’s mercenaries (including Ramon and Toloc) attempt to steal the amulet, but Kukulcán unleashes overwhelming solar power to stop them. The X-Men ultimately defeat Kukulcán; during the fight Cyclops accidentally hits Angel with an optic blast, worsening tension between them over Jean Grey. Meanwhile, at Metro College, Jean Grey encounters Calvin Rankin (the Mimic) with his memories missing.
