Synopsis:
Dawn of Brood
The Brood, revealed to possess mutant abilities, attack the X-Men in full force. They mesmerize Rogue and Psylocke and incapacitate Wolverine, whom Harry Palmer implants with a Brood egg. Storm, meanwhile, takes to the skies but is brought down by the Brood mutant Dive-bomber, whom Havok kills to save his teammate’s life. After Colossus defeats the Brood mutant Brickbat, the rest of the Brood retreats.
Elsewhere in Denver, the Reverend William Connover and his wife Hannah discuss Hannah’s arthritis affliction.
In Australia, the dreaming Madelyne has a vision of her husband, Cyclops, discarding her in favor of the original version, Jean Grey.
