Synopsis:
Fear Itself, Part 3
Cyclops tries several strategies of stopping the newly empowered Juggernaut, none of which seem to work. He consults their imprisoned magic expert Magik, who has an idea. He allows her to be freed under the watchful eyes of Colossus and Shadowcat.
Magik teleports them to the Crimson Cosmos where they tell the Juggernaut’s patron, Cyttorak, that his servant now serves another god – the Serpent. Greatly displeased, Cyttorak withdraws his power from the Juggernaut. Magik offers herself as a new avatar, but Colossus intercedes, not willing to see his sister damn herself once more. He sacrifices himself, becoming the new Juggernaut.
In the meantime, Mayor Sadie Sinclair reluctantly begins to consider the option that they may have to destroy Utopia to save San Francisco, something which Danger informs Cyclops about.
In the infirmary, Emma, in the grasp of fear thanks to the Serpent, plans to kill the unconscious Hope.
