Synopsis:
SFX, Part 2: All Tomorrow’s Parties
Pixie and a friend of hers are brutally attacked and bludgeoned by members of the Hellfire Cult, a mutant-hating group of men who don the helmets of the soldiers of the Hellfire Club.
Meanwhile, the X-Men are relaxing in their new headquarters in the outskirts of San Francisco, until Pixie walks in, all bruised and battered, and recounts what happened.
In the headquarters of the Hellfire Cult, their leader, the mutant known as Empath, manipulates his sheepish followers, using his power to fuel their hatred for mutants and encouraging them to bash even more of them. Unbeknownst to everybody, Empath is being given orders by a mysterious woman called the Red Queen, who dresses as a dominatrix and even tortures and humiliates Empath as part of their sadomasochistic sessions.
Later, Karma meanders through the streets of San Francisco, being used as bait by the X-Men to lure the goons of the Hellfire Cult. Just as several members of the Cult are about to attack Karma, Wolverine and Nightcrawler make their entrance, determined to teach these mutant-bashers a lesson.
