First Sign, Chapter 1: I’ll Take Manhattan
Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter storm the SHIELD Helicarrier to learn why they were intentionally kept apart for years. To their dismay, Nick Fury is dead and Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine is in charge now.
After a testy exchange with the Contessa, Cap and the former Agent 13 leave the Helicarrier and begin walking toward Brooklyn. While they’re strolling across the bridge, a powerful force field drops over the entire island of Manhattan. Suddenly separated from Sharon, Cap rushes back to Manhattan and tries to restore order, but the Sentinel of Liberty is ambushed by the Zodiac.
The star-spangled Avenger hasn’t tangled with this astral group in a quite a while, and he needs to find allies. Is the god of thunder home tonight?
