Title:
Nightwing
Synopsis:
”Improper Angels”
Nightwing and Nite-Wing barely escape the explosion caused by Torque. Despite what happened Dick still wants to talk with Nite-Wing about his future as a vigilante.
Blockbuster is not too pleased that there is a gang war happening as if he was already dead. But he continues to search for a replacement heart, thus, has captured the gorilla Grimm. Blockbuster wants to know the location of Gorilla City, but Grimm is not yet willing give him that information.
Meanwhile, Nightwing and Nite-Wing have to flee from the explosion scene because a SWAT team has arrived as well. Now Nightwing is sure they were set up. Chief Redhorn gets informed about the two fleeing the scene, so the Chief decides to give new Inspector Mac Arnot his first case. Nightwing tells Nite-Wing that he needs training if he wants to stay in business and, therefore, offers to coach him.
Back in his apartment, Dick is visited by Bridget Clancy. She presents him a framed photo of them together at the graduation celebration. It becomes obvious that she is interested in a closer relationship with Dick. But he is retreating because he has feelings for a woman he already knows for a long time. Bridget plays it cool, but she cries after leaving Dick’s apartment. Later at night, Nightwing meets Nite-Wing and they start Tad’s superhero training.
At the same time, Torque has kidnapped Alistair Bendel-White. He offers Intergang to run the city in the future as long as Torque himself can have the spotlight as kind of an ambassador of Blüdhaven...
