Title:
Nightwing
Synopsis:
”Stalked”
Shrike is eager to take on Nightwing and explains to Blockbuster that he has a history with the vigilante dating back to the time when he was Batman’s sidekick Robin.
Black Canary visits Oracle and surprises Dick Grayson as he steps out of the bathroom after showering. Feeling a little embarassed, Dick quickly puts on his clothes and leaves. Dinah fires questions at Barabra who insists that ”nothing happened”. But later the two women work out and Barbara tells Dinah how her relationship with Nightwing has evolved and she has a huge crush on him.
While Nightwing drives back to Bludhaven, Torque continues to elaborate his escape plan from Lockhaven Penetentiary with Tad Ryerstad. Torque has set his sights on the guard who is also known as Amygdala. He is super strong and needs medication to control his emotions which Torque wants to take advantage of.
After doing his shift at the police, Dick gets some sleep before going on patrol as Nightwing. Right in the city center, he runs right into a setup and has to face a group of four ninjas. Dick easily defeats them, but Shrike observed the fight and then catches Nightwing using a net. Shrike reveals himself and calls Nightwing both ”Robin” and ”Freddy”. Dick remembers a man named Shrike, but he is supposed to be dead ...
