Title:
Action Comics (Vol.1) #387
Synopsis:
Synopsis for Superman: ”Even A Superman Dies!”
Superman rescues some astronauts in 801,970 A.D., goes to the year 1,001,970 and terraforms and repopulates a barren Earth, survives the attack of a drone-weapon powered by the dead intellect of Lex Luthor, and is helplessly thrown through the time-barrier even further into the future by a comet (Superman thinks ”I’ll keep going to the End of Time!”)
However, Superman black outs and then relives events from his childhood, boyhood, and adulthood until he returns to the point at which he first took his time-trip, after which the time-lines diverge and he is free to live out his normal life again.
