Title:
The Flash
Synopsis:
Synopsis for ”Collision Course with Disaster!”
The Flash discovers that the ”ESP” flashes of Stacy Conwell can really be attributed to the transmissions of a downed UFO.
Synopsis for Green Lantern: ”The Floods will Come!”
Green Lantern, accompanied by an Ayrie hitchhiker, encounters the Ravagers of Olys for the third time as they attempt to flood the planet Archos. But first, he descends to the planet and finds some natives about to be swooped by a tidal wave, so he puts them on high ground and builds a wall around their village to stop the wave. A quick sweep reveals that the same scene is repeating all over the planet, and he has no other choice than confronting the Ravagers directly. Inside, a Ravager challenges Green Lantern to a duel, but before he could accept, the Ayrie accompanying Hal makes him see it is a trap, consisting of a hologram and a mirror intended for Green Lantern to shoot himself.
In the control room, Hal discovers that the ship is attracting a comet near Archos’ orbit, leaving a trail of molecules that caused the tides to flood the land of the planet. Green Lantern uses the mirror to get rid of the molecules and throw them to space, saving a third planet from extinction. While leaving the planet behind, Hal decides to name his new tiny friend Itty, and together they follow the Ravagers’ trail.
