Peter makes his first forays into crime-fighting here. He unwittingly finds himself in a position to deal with a group of contract killers and con men defrauding grieving people throughout the city including Aunt May. Reluctantly, he faces armed men with a set purpose to kill him for the first time and he surprises himself with his abilities, including his spider-sense. It’s definitely the first baby steps on the road to him becoming a hero.
