Title:

JLA (1997)

Synopsis:
WRITTEN BY MARK WAID; ART BY MARK PAJARILLO AND WALDEN WONG; COVER BY HOWARD PORTER AND JOHN DELL. The second of two issues by guest writer Mark Waid and the team of Mark Pajarillo and Walden Wong finds the JLA hunting the man Batman suspects may be responsible for "No Man’s Land”...Bruce Wayne? The Dark Knight orders Green Lantern, Barda, Plastic Man, and Steel to track Wayne down, but the Gotham millionaire is nothing if not a wily and quick-thinking opponent (hmmm...wonder why?). Meanwhile, Superman and Wonder Woman are confronted by a man claiming to be the new Flash (see THE FLASH #152 for more details). Note: Look for JLA ANNUAL #3, Part 1 of the "JLApe: Gorilla Warfare” Annuals event, elsewhere in this issue of Previews.
